Working within the Institute of Physics, Brightrecruits.com were asked to produce a recruitment video for the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca. IMT is an Institute for Advanced Studies that aims to push the frontiers of knowledge and to contribute to the formation of international professional elites for business and institutions.
Brightrecruits.com came to us with the brief that they wanted to create a dynamic and innovative promotional video for IMT Lucca. The university is unique in that it is based on a limited number of highly interdisciplinary scientific fields which attracts bright students, young researchers and professors through competitive, transparent procedures at an international level.
We spent time consulting with Brightrecruits.com and IMT to ensure we knew exactly what they wanted from the video. We chose one of our local film makers Janis, who has worked with us for 3 years prior to this filming. He assisted with finding the right locations on Campus to shoot the video and we made sure they had some ideas on the questions they were going to ask their professors, students and researchers who were being filmed.
Thanks in general for such a wonderful product – Janis was fantastic of course, and I just have so many great things to say about Video Direct in general. We really appreciate you!
Have a great day, Sara.
The video was filmed on Location over a period of 8 hours, capturing interviews, lectures and some stunning footage of the campus and the beautiful city of Lucca, Italy.
We were very lucky that Sara Lindsey Olson was the perfect ambassador for the IMT and was very comfortable on camera, introducing the institute and walking us through its history and ethos. The filming went really smoothly and due to the fact that we had helped to prepare everyone for the shoot, everything that we needed to film was captured and edited into the video above. Having been part of the consultation process at the start, Janis was able to edit this video to their specifications ensuring that the style of the video was appropriate to their needs. This made for a very easy second edit, where very little was changed from the first version.
The whole process took 3 months to complete from start to finish. The booking came in early July, we filmed around the middle of September and the final video was approved by the beginning of October. We were in constant contact with our client brightrecruits.com and their customer IMT throughout this period of time.
On receipt of the final approved video, Brightrecruits.com added it to their latest recruitment feature and IMT currently use it on the homepage of their website.
